Join Stanford University's Nathan Johnson and Anthony Parrish on their journey to employ AI-assisted prospect identification techniques to mine SEC filings.

Speaker Bios: 

Nathan Johnson serves as an Insight Analyst in the Prospect Development department at Stanford University. In his role, he leverages advanced data science techniques to craft and execute innovative strategies for prospecting, prospect identification, and enhancing prospect diversity. Prior to joining Stanford, Nathan was the Business Analytics Lead for the IT department at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and resides in Denver, Colorado.

Anthony Parrish is an Associate Director of Development Research at Stanford University, joining the prospect development team in 2021. With 15 years of development experience, stops along the way have included Princeton University, The Peddie School, Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, and Dominican University. Committed to sharing knowledge across the profession, he has presented at the Apra Prospect Development conference, spent time on the Apra Connections editorial advisory committee, and reviewed articles for the journal Nonprofit Management & Leadership. Anthony's undergraduate studies were at the University of Notre Dame.
