Apra Great Lakes 2020 Planning Call & Volunteering Opportunity

Thursday, April 4th @ 1:00 pm CST/2:00 pm ET 

Several representatives from Apra chapters in the Great Lakes states are collaborating to create the first Apra Great Lakes Conference to be held in October 2020 in Chicago. By pooling resources, this type of regional mid-sized conference can offer something beyond what can be done at a chapter level and bring together a wider group of peers across the Great Lakes region. This conference will include a broader, yet focused variety of topics, speakers and learning opportunities. Based on initial responses from our chapters, our members are eager for this great opportunity.

Call to Action: In order to make this regional conference a reality we need a set of awesome volunteers to make this happen, and we want you to be involved in the process. With that in mind, our Great Lakes Conference Committee Advisory Group will be hosting a volunteer callout on Thursday, April 4 from 2pm to 3pm ET. We will share the progress that has been made and will be asking for volunteers to help in a variety of ways. The reality is that this is a big and complex project and we’ll need help between now and October 2020 to make this a successful conference!
