University of Illinois Foundation Senior Prospect Development Analyst Emily Laverty and Director of Research and Portfolio Management Caroline Nappo will share how their team partners with campus advancement to accelerate and systematize qualification with the Push 2 Pending (P2P) program. This presentation will highlight how different yet related advancement teams successfully collaborate to achieve shared goals around referral generation, qualification, fundraiser education, and tools. Speaker Bios: Emily Laverty is Senior Prospect Development Analyst at the University of Illinois Foundation (UIF). She has been a dedicated member of the Research & Portfolio Management team at UIF since 2008 and currently collaborates with fundraisers in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences at the University of Illinois to identify and track sources of private gift support. Emily holds an MPA with a concentration in Community Arts Management from the University of Illinois Springfield. She is a Maine native and got her start in prospect research and the New England Conservatory of Music. Caroline Nappo is the Director of Research and Portfolio Management at the University of Illinois Foundation (UIF) who joined the department in 2015 as a Development Research Specialist. She holds an MS and PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois.
