Wednesday Session: Marie Kondo a Portfolio

12:00 CST

When we need to think strategically, it helps to not be distracted. To focus, we have to clear away the clutter! Let's talk about cleaning and decluttering our fundraisers' portfolios: in other words, improving portfolio hygiene. In this session, we will show you how to take a lesson from Marie Kondo when reviewing portfolios and assessing them. We will talk about using portfolio segments to prioritize portfolios as well as tools intended to rediscover the discovery process through things like interest-based lists (looking beyond natural constituency), warmer leads, diversity, and referrals. We will also be walking you through how to guide a group of fundraisers through this Marie Kondo-esque exercise. Ultimately, we will be focused on helping you develop a process for curating well managed, balanced and appropriate portfolios.
